About Goodyear Auto Service

Goodyear Auto Service Centers are full-service tire and automotive repair stores wholly owned and operated by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

Located at 1355 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14209, Goodyear Auto Service operates as a tire shop serving Buffalo in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as auto repair shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In Buffalo, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Compare the out-the-door price across shops in New York, since installation fees vary more than the tires themselves. Keep the receipt: the tire warranty and any road-hazard coverage are tied to it. Demand peaks before winter and before summer road trips. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop sells used tires or handles truck and trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Goodyear Auto Service at (716) 884-6331; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, goodyear.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 175 reviews, which is a strong result for a tire shop in Buffalo and suggests consistent service.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I came in 10 minutes before they closed and had a loud noise (grinding noise) they took me in even though they were getting ready to close to help me out they got the shield taken off that was rubbing on my drive shaft. And got me back on the road in 10 minutes. Shout out to them excellent job to them great and friendly people.

Fantastic service. Everyone there was amazing. There was little money made on my issue so that shows that they are great no matter what. I needed a new tire, covered by road hazard, and a new rim. I ordered the tire, paid for it and had the new rim delivered. they took care of everything and I had my car back as quickly as possible. Over an above. BTW, now retired but used to co own a auto repair shop.

30 days after purchasing nine hundred dollar set of tires. One tire was ten pounds light air pressure. I called and spoke to kevin who told me he couldn't get me in for 8 days, so I went to put air in the tire to wait for the appointment. The valve would not take the air. I called back to speak to somebody. Samantha answered the phone and said. Let me put you on a brief hold. After 12 minutes on this brief hold, I called from another phone she answered. Immediately while I was on hold with the other phone. ignoring my call on hold i explained the tire was not taking air through the valve and that I could not wait for ten days. She told me there was nothing they could do.I went to tire depot, and they fixed it in ten minutes. And charged me twenty dollars for a new valve. Very poor customer service at this goodyear location. I had experienced this while they were putting the new tires on the car.But I chalked it up to them being understaffed. I do not recommend this tire shop for anybody. Looking for good customer service. And new tires.

Samantha (the manager) and Tyler (the technician) were absolutely fantastic! I took my car in for an inspection and it turned out I needed all of my rotors and brake pads replaced. Tyler showed me each item that needed replacing and explained to me what work needed to be done in each area. The service was also extremely affordable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I really value the expertise and transparency at this location - I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!

I had an unexpected issue with my door handle one morning before work. I went to the Goodyear Auto Service on Main Street in Buffalo, NY to schedule an appointment to fix my door. Kevin, and their staff, dismissed the need for a separate appointment and promptly fixed my door right away. It was a wonderful and generous experience!
